WORKLINX System

The WORKLINX Team Assists With the Process

The Staff Details Section complements payroll to provide valuable employee information. Includes description, responsibilities, authority, training, performance and checklist items

Job Descriptions: A detailed description of the job is followed with a list of Key Tasks together with Outcomes (KPIs). Key Tasks: WHAT has to be done in each Key Task are listed as Work Actions. Work Actions: WHAT, WHY and HOW the work gets done. WORKLINX takes a novel approach to the writing of Procedures. The unique format ensures greater understanding and easier delegation. These pages double as very effective training guides.

Promoting Best Practice is the heart of the system

The key to producing consistent high quality in all areas of activity is to ensure Best Practice is followed. This is far more likely when known best practices are in the hands of all staff in all areas of work. Folders Option: Work Actions can be linked to pre-indexed Department Folders. Ideal for distributing SOPs around work stations and for equipment instructions etc. Checklists & Equipment: Chaos is fueled by things forgotten! WORKLINX connects checklist items to staff. And, the checklists contain WHY and HOW to make the check - correctly. Much easier to delegate work or quickly train others.

So much is said about working 'on" your business rather than working 'in' your business.

WORKLINX - System Builder Software makes it easier to work 'on' your business whether you are 'in' or not.

And the same applies to all positions in your business. All systems and procedures are documented and retrievable quickly.

Bringing Standard Operating Procedures to Life

There’s little point investing in best practice standard operating procedures if staff don’t use them when they do their work. This happens when procedures are not associated with their work. WORKLINX ‘links’ best practice with work practice. Everyone has copies of Personal Work Procedures, rather than centralised SOP Manuals gathering dust. And the instructions are printed - ready to be referred to - point by point. WORKLINX also enables Department Work Procedures to be produced - doubling the return on investment made in SOPs.

Health & Safety

WORKLINX incorporates a comprehensive Health & Safety section. Not only will your business comply with regulatory requirements, areas of RISK are LINKED to Jobs. Systembuilder ensures OSH links are made to Work Actions and /or Procedures. ALL staff are informed and a training record maintained to minimize risk.

Systems and people must provide cover and security

What happens when everyone is at work is only part of the challenge. Equally important, but often only found when it’s too late, is what doesn't or can’t happen when some employees are not at work - even for a few hours, let alone days, weeks or after a resignation.

Owners and Managers need to be assured all business systems continue when they are not there to manage things. Robust systems ensure this.

The ever present risk is lack of detail on the work done by many key personnel in a business.

  • Has their work been documented?
  • Who can provide cover when people are away?
  • How long will it take an inexperienced person to pick up the threads?

WORKLINX provides the system to give you cover and security

Full time and Part time Employment

Too many businesses have too many full time employees in part time roles. That’s bad for everyone. It mostly happens when ‘positions’ are filled rather than carrying out serious work analysis and hiring for needs. When the amount of work clearly doesn't warrant a full timer, hire a part timer. This policy can have many beneficial results for all concerned. And trained part time temps are an excellent resource in busy times or when the unexpected happens.
